Hey gals...just wanted to brag myself up a little. I'm trying to lose some major weight and I'm doing Weight Watchers, which is totally working! I was afraid that if I only lost, say .2 pounds, I'd be discouraged because there was no tangible evidence. So I'm making...
For every 1/10 pound I lose, I make one 2.5" granny square. So even a teensy weight loss is as important as a big one! This is an awesome motivator...
Okay, the picture on top is my first week's weight loss - 3.6 pounds. 36 squares.

On the bottom, my second week - 1.0 pounds and 10 more squares. Also, on the left, my youngest kitten's foot. She felt the need to help.
This week, I have to make 34 more...for a grand total of 70 squares (or 7 pounds!) in 3 weeks. Wooo! I'll post more after I make them up and sew them together.
I'm also joining the BCS Stitch-N-Bitch, if any of you are in this area. *waves*
