yes, more of those
Mar. 30th, 2005 11:43 pmTurns out, being sick in bed for five days is good for something--a project I was a month behind on finally got finished. Woo.
How do you thank your awesome group of friends for chipping in together and buying you one of these for your birthday:

I wanted my 'thank yous' to be as memorable and awesome as the present received (and I had just bought eleven colors of fleece on sale at Joanns that day), so everyone's getting little monsters. I finally finished them tonight, and they turned out pretty cute:

A super close-up, courtesy of my fabulous scanner.
I'll miss the little buggers, since they were very helpful around the house:

The bee-colored one was kind enough to make me breakfast in the mornings.

These two got my 1,653,574 books in order for me alphabetically, which was nice.

My favorite, the super furry one, and his pal to the left set my vcr in time for me to tape "The Amazing Race" - yay!

The pastel monsters offered to unpack the boxes still sitting in my closet after months--who was I to refuse them their fun?

We humans may hate cleaning the bathroom, but monsters LOVE it.

We all decided to have a "goodbye" pool party in the bathroom sink at the end--with lots of 'lylas!' and 'miss you!'s and 'RAAAAHHHHR!'s to be heard. Aww.

Here they are at the end, all boxed and ready to travel to their new homes. I'll miss you, monsters!
