craftgrrl | Giant Blackboard wall and gladware storage

One wall in my room is completely black. It's one huge giant blackboard! It's so cool, you can write TO DO lists and quotes or poems and stuff. Or maybe draw a calendar each month and write little notes about the days. It's so much fun, I love it.

You just take a couple cans of Chalkboard spray paint and start. However, I'd suggest covering everything over with sheets because the paint dust gets EVERYWHERE.

Also, You'll have to put really wide cutting-in tape on the other walls, maybe eight inches wide. Because spray paint has wide range. Unless you want it on the walls and ceiling that is. . .

The cans also had some more directions other than just spraying so that it had a chalkboardy texture, but I skipped that and it's just fine.

The Chalkboard AOL tin reminded me that my wall wasn't normal.

Another storage type idea I had was gladware. I think I saw it an a magazine. You put screws in each of the four corners on the bottom and screw it in. I use it to hold my chalk.
