Marbles take 164,521,189
Dec. 14th, 2002 11:36 amHey all,
I'm sure everybody's just SEW eggcited to hear more about marble magnets BUT there was some discussion about the cost of magnets and I think I might have something to help if you're willing to do a little extra werk.
(GOD I hope nobody's allready suggested this and I missed it...)
Magnet strips. Like thin magnets sold 3/4 in wide and on a roll. It's pretty cheap compared to individual magnets. I was initially worried that I'd have to make two layers of magnet to get it to stay up on the 'fridge but if you're using the small ones one layer is sufficient. The only time add is cutting out the circles/ovals to stick to the back.
I gotta run I'm making an attempt at learning to make chainmail(sp?).
Thanks for the inspiration, ladies-n-gents!
