What I did today...
May. 7th, 2005 12:49 amToday I finished three bags and I made a swanky pillow to match my bed set.

Here is the pillow I made. Materials used: silver ribbon, black satin blanket edging, and two pieces of satin for the pillow body.

This is the view of the back.

This is my first bag made from Naugahyde. Let me tell you now, this is not a material for the faint of heart or a weak sewing machine. I don't think I will be using the rest of this until my industrial machine comes. (I'm getting a sewing machine they used to sew car upholstery. =) WEEEEE FUN!
I love the look of the material though and it's sooo tough.

This is another view of the bag, this is one of my inside out series... a bag you can use either inside out or right side out. I guess there is no wrong side =)

This is the inside of the Naugahyde bag, the vinyl has a pattern on it, I'll get a close up image later. I love finding vinyl in weird colors and patterns.

Another inside out bag... I think I'll call this one Mod Doxie. I love the pink and white and the shapes. This is the prototype for a line of bags that look like this in all different shapes and sizes.

Another view.

This is the reverse side of the bag above. I like the racing stripe look of the grey vinyl and the pink back ground with the white doxie. It's a bag for having fun! Not to mention the pink vinyl is super soft.

This is a bag I was just playing around with, I wanted to do something with text and this is what I ended up with. I think it's fun and totally something that would a great way to show doxie love...

This is the view of the inside, I love animal prints and this is a leopard print in grey which also happens to be a velvet like material.
So there you have it, the fruits of today's labors. I'm so tired... I must sleep.
