Book clutch lining?

I'll delete this if I am breaking a rule... I'm not sure if I am.

I know the book clutch thing has been asked before, it's in the memories. I've looked at all of those posts and the posts in other communities about book clutches. All of the links to tutorials are broken. I am not asking for a tutorial. I can pretty much figure it out on my own. I am just wondering, how would I attach the cloth to inside of the book cover? That's the only part that I can't figure out. Would I hot glue it on? I have no clue.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Oh and if you could help me with my book binding questions here. That would be really awesome.
