The first post of what will be... many.

This is my first post with pictures. I'm a little jazzed. I want to kick it off by saying that everyone here is so creative and helpful. Because of this community I have enough craft ideas to last me 'till Christmas. Whew!

The content of my first post is nothing groundbreaking-ly cool. It’s just an iPod case, not cover. I’m afraid that I am a little hard on my first gen. iPod so I wanted a sturdy home for him in case I ever dropped him on the driveway… again.





This is made out of matt board, fabric (2 kinds as you can see), that cheap craft foam you can get everywhere, and decoupage glue. To keep it closed I just bought some black elastic and sewed the ends together to make a band. For extra scratch protection the iPod itself is wrapped in saran wrap (except the click-wheel and the top, you know, for access).


Right now I am working on some bags made out of t-shirts. Hopefully I will post those this week.
Now I'm going to get comments. So awesome.
