Quilt question

craftgrrlI am wanting to make a lap size quilt for my husbands grandmother. The kind I want to make doesn't have much sewing involved but I don't know what it is called. Basically you tie a bunch thread all over it to connect the top with the stuffing and the backing and then you have little ties all over it.
Does anyone know where online I could find instructions for this or what it is called? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
