Luggage Help
May. 20th, 2005 05:06 pmOkay so I'm going off to a art thing this summer. It’s called “Governer school for the Arts“, I think it‘s just a Kentucky thing, but i could be wrong. Basically I get to go for a few weeks this summer and study at Transylvania college, and have loads of fun.
So......Due to the fact everyone there will be artsy and fun, i want everything i take to also be artsy. Just so maybe people can get a since of me a little bit, Plus it would be supper cool to show up with some awesome luggage. I have some old vintage hard suitcases, so I was thinking about painting starry night by van Gogh on the largest of the cases, and then maybe painting a Edward Gorey picture on the other, smaller, case. I also thought about covering them in glitter and sequins, but I'm to lazy and too broke to buy and glue on all those sequins (and i think the glitter might get everywhere).
.......I was just wondering if any of you lovely people had any better ideas of how to spice up my suit cases, and make them artsy and fun? Besides painting something on them. Or maybe if any of you had gone to a program such as this and might have some other suggestions of things to make/take that are a bit more artsy then the everyday object. Thanks, i can’t wait to hear your ideas.
