craftgrrlHaven't posted here in a long time. I was just wondering if anyone in here has worked with metals in jewelry making? I just graduated high school, and I really want to continue working with jewelry, but I don't exactly know where to start.
Does anyone have their own 'lab' set up in the home to make jewelry? How costly is it for all the supplies needed, can you get discounts, where are the best places to shop? \
As an alternative, what places typically offer jewelry classes at a reasonable price? I looked at the local arts center, but they wanted $120 for only 3 hours. Does the YMCA or recreational offer things like this?
