I made shirts
May. 28th, 2005 09:50 pmAcrylic paint, fabric medium, and cheap solid color shirts. No stencils or anything like that - I've always found that I can do better, faster work with paintbrushes.
I think this is the coolest shirt I have ever modified:

I also made this one. It has a pair of feathers on the front, but the back is too busy drying for me to flip it over. This is the back:

This one was totally freehand with no particular image in mind. I based the back on those "tribal" wing tattoos you see popping up everywhere.
That's it for now. I also cut a HUGE Hawaiian shirt into a subdued-looking long tank top (thing comes to mid-thigh), but it's too dark to take pix and I really should take the other two to the laundromat and seal them up.
