Crochet apple! I made her for a coworker who's last day is tomorrow. She is leaving our crappy college student job for a job with Teach for America down in Miami. I know she's going to be an amazing teacher, so I went with the corny apple plush.

I freehanded her and I LOVE her. The picture doesn't show it well, but I think I did a darn good job of getting the top and bottom to indent (I actually managed to tie them to each other, so they won't even un-indent either). The stem is a pipecleaner, the eyes are buttons, and I LOVE HER! I can barely bear to part with her. I hope this doesn't become some new fruit plushie obsession for me.
