the deal is, I brought this bag from a shop but it sucked. So I added buttons...

And lining to make it sturdy.

THEN I set about making my first bag from material I had. Result :

Yeah I sewed a strap on backwards, and it has a wierd pleat all the way around but whatever Im so proud of this so dont slag it off.

Its lining...

My "im taking photos" face. And belly. :s. Ok so to save the pleat issue im going to make a strip of hemmed fabric with the same stuff as the lining and sew it all around the top of the bag. So it will be half cord, half fabric. Look you can see my rats cage
