i was wondering if anyone has ever stained glass before?

i was hoping to stain some cups for my siblings..i bought the paints that are dishwasher safe. so i'm sure you could use them on glasses.

i've already started playing with it on some bottle..but it doesn't seem to be working out as planned.

any suggestions??
