Earring Holder

The frame is a wooden one that is painted black from the dollar store. The pink fabric is from an old shirt I had. I simply cut the fabric to size and stapled it to the back of the frame. The earring hooks slide right through the fabric... it has reduced a lot of clutter, and I think it's pretty nice looking. Total cost: $1, plus lots of frustration when the staples wouldn't go into the wood (I just used a regular stapler... a staple gun would work a lot better.

aww, look at the pretty flowers!

But wait, look closer... they're pens!

Functional, and I like the way they brighten up my desk. I had seen people make things like this on here before, and I figured I would give it a shot. It was fun! Best of all, it wasn't too expensive: a couple dollars for the flowers, a couple dollars for the pens, and 66 cents for the floral tape. Less that $5!
