cool project thwarted

I recently read about a project for making a fire screen. One attaches round, capiz shell disks with wire to the screen. The translucent shells catch the light from the fire for a lovely effect.

However, I have encountered a problem: no capiz shell disks. So friends, where might I find these elusive disks?

A friend suggested that I get a capiz shell windchime and disassemble and use the parts. In which case, where do I get a capiz shell windchime?
