Crazy Tree

craftgrrlI started to make this little tree to display decorated eggs two Easters ago. It took me over a year to finish it and then it just got packed away. Well I just unpacked it and my xmas ornaments so...
The tree was made by putting paper mache onto a tinfoil skeleton and then painted. (Yes, there is a white spot where I need to repaint the stripes on part of a branch.) The ornaments are ceramic. I didn't sculpt them but I did paint them.
I figure that both the tree and the ornaments are odd enough that it doesn't come off as too x-masy, so I'll just keep it up year round.
The tree reminds me of Tim Burton and the ornaments seem very Dr. Seuss. That's wasn't on purpose, just sort of happened. :)
