Scrap Yarn Help
Jun. 20th, 2005 08:50 amText only post, i know, i just haven't had the time to be crafting these past few weeks with work and the Pseudo In Laws visiting. *grumbles*
But, i am in need of some ideas.
A friend of the family's mother passed away last week and this woman was a crazy crafter. Her daughter who is friends with my mother, decided, since she knows my mom and i are crafty ladies, to give us all of her mother's left over crafty stuff.
Well, i wasn't prepare for the amount of "stuff" that his woman left behind.
I pretty much snagged up all of the yarn - six bins worth of the stuff - three of them full of what i would call 'scrap' yarn. Anywhere from about half a skein worth to just a few yards, if that of yarn.
I had been contemplating starting a "never ending" ripple blanket with the scraps - but wanted to see if any of ya'll had any other ideas on what to do with this mass of scrap yarn.
So, ideas?
For the love of god, the yarn is screaming my name and i HAVE to do something with it!!!!
