free embroidery, pt. one.

my first completed piece of free embroidery:



the motif mesaures 4" high and 3" wide.
the design is constructed around three
pieces of shishadur (mirror work) and then
just grows organically from there.
surprisingly (or perhaps unsurprisingly,)
this piece looks very much like my drawings.
