Brilliant Pattern paper!
Jun. 27th, 2005 03:06 pmThis is what i use, and i was wondering if anyone else does as well!
For my paper patterns, I use a roll of newspaper paper. You can get the left over rolls from your local newspaper office for only a couple of bucks. I bought two a couple of years ago and they're still going strong.
It's the paper they use for newspapers ((its about two open newspapers-wide and about 2inches thick around the roll)) and they must get to a certain part where they can't use anymore paper, so they sell it.
It's perfect for patterns!!
Another thing I use to trace out patterns is thin interfacing. you can get it quite cheaply and it's easy to mark on it where the folds are, where the grainline is, and it's strong and durable! It won't tear! I use interfacing for patterns that I use alot!</lj-cut>
