Collage Pendants
Jun. 29th, 2005 05:18 pmSomeone posted a verboten ebay link today for some Collage Pendants and I wanted to share that they are wicked easy to make with a few of the right tools.
Assemble thin papers/paint/flowers/and stuff between two pieces of glass- Cleaned with vinegar (microscope slides are awesome for this) take copper tape (avail. at stained glass stores) and wrap it around the edges, then using solder / flux and an soldering iron, put solder around the edges. Then take a jump ring dipped in flux (for jewelry) and when you get to the top of the piece, get a friend to hold the ring in place as you fill in the solder around it.
Repeat for the back side. Allow to cool, clean with windex, then wear!
