so i was lacking inspiration.
i ended up going out to my sewing room and pulling out a heap of awesome fabric and making a mess and draping it over my mannequin lola.

then i started thinking about the fantastic 80s music video's i'd been watching with my friend yesterday and i remembered the video for 'love is a battlefield' (i can't remember who that is by) [edit by Pat Benatar i've been informed]


and this is the dress i made:
