azuree was commissioned by a lovely lovely girl from craftgrrl who wanted red and blonde dreadlocks, kitty-ears, and a sapphire blue dress. i thought she turned out quite pretty and was actually a bit sad to see her go...at least i still have the pretty pictures!

her hair was carefully and painstakingly made by using the boil method for human sized synthetic dreads, only much much smaller. each lock was made individually and glued onto her wee little head. her shirt is a pretty handmade paper i found and decoupaged in place. the rest is the usual: sculpey, wire, paint, blah blah blah.
