craftgrrl | VERY Picture Heavy!

I've pretty much been stalking this community for a lifetime and have always been a little too nervous to join and post. But today I decided to be bold and go for it, especially since everyone here is usually so nice and supportive. So...

I've been doing quite a bit of crafting since the summer began and here's what I've come up with so far:

A colored pencil holder that I made for my boyfriend's nine-year-old niece because she was so sweet and drew me lots of pictures before she even ever met me...

The pencil holder all rolled up and tied...

And Altoid tin that I painted. Robos inspired by Natalie Dee.

I was/am in the process of re-doing my room, so here are some crafts that I made to accentuate it's awesomeness. (Disclaimer: If you hate pink, you might not want to scroll down any further.)

Shadowbox that I made and painted to hold my freakin' sweet ATHF deck. I don't skate, but when I saw the board, I was in love...

Bought two seven inch vinyl records and bent them to serve as book ends (or rather DVD ends). I know I saw someone in this community do this previously, but I couldn't find the entry. If you let me know via comments, I promise I'll credit you!

Pulls I made out of Sculpey and some headpins that I had leftover. (The yellow blinds aren't staying, fyi.)

My lamp that I marbled. It was previously hollowed, clear glass essentially (the kind that you buy to fill up with whatever to match the room your putting it in.)

A cardboard heart-shaped box that I painted. Inspired by a Senses Fail song...

And finally, although not a craft, what I consider, by far, to be the most beloved thing about my room (pardon the messy bed and blaring light, I haven't found a lampshade to suit my lamp yet)...
