two necklaces and a pair of earrings
Jul. 28th, 2005 02:56 pmI recently finished up two necklaces that I've been slowly working on for about a month now, plus I made up a really cool pair of earrings. I just thought I'd share photos with y'all!
I call this pair of earrings "icing on the cake", because they look like icicles to me and names involving dagger (the type of bead) tend not to be evocative of happy things ;-)

This piece is my necklace representation of the ocean, with the ocean colors, water items, and silver swirls. So I decided to call it "ocean dreams". feeel the waves.

close up of the focal point of the necklace (paua is terribly difficult to photograph).

A bit ago I decided to try my hand at making these great swirled polymer clay lentil beads I had seen. This is one of the results of that trip into clay land. They're rather fun to make and not terribly difficult. I decided to call this piece 'autumn dreams' since it's got tons of orange in it.

close up of the clay pendant (which was being difficult in all the full neckace photos)

I hope you like the end results. I'm very happy with how they all turned out.
