Jul. 30th, 2005 06:34 pmHello ladies :)
I have a question about this bracelet that I made

I made this last week and I love it. But I was thinking that I wanted to re-make it with clear fishing line (instead of tiger tail) for that floating-pearl effect. So I bought clear craft wire (I think it was called Transite?) from Michaels. I made a strand for a bracelet using crimps and beads. When I finished the strand, I tugged at it, and wherever I had a crimp, the wire snapped! I learned from someone today that fishing wire is hollow, and crimps weaken it. sooo my question is, has anyone ever used this glue (or any type of glue, really) in place of crimps in a similar project?

I'm not sure how exactly to use it/how long it takes to dry, etc. any hints/tips would be appreciated!
(sorry for the blurry picture)
and a pair of earrings I made:
