So I am getting ready to move, and I packed all of my yarn first so it wouldn't distract me from moving. And then my friend IMs me to tell me that Joanns is having a sale. And THEN I get an e-mail with a 40% off coupon in it. And THEN I find that my roommate who already moved out left her 50% coupon here.

Needless to say, I bought some yarn. Caron's Bliss has got to be the softest thing I've ever worked with. It really felt like crocheting with air. Unfortunately, it's not a yarn I would really wear with anything, because I'm not a fuzzy yarn type of person. So I made my roommate a hat.





This is sort of an odd picture, but it's the only one I took in the mirror that didn't turn out blurry. You can also look at this one, but try to ignore the fact that I need to dust my mirror.



This shows the colors better. It's sky blue and sour apple. Remarkably, for being a fuzzy yarn, it really didn't shed at all as I was working on it. It was a nice distraction, and now back to packing and cleaning. Joy.
