Book making?

craftgrrlDoes anyone here know anything about book binding? My boyfriend is a struggling writer and since no one seems to want to publish his work I decided I WOULD.
I'm hoping to do this for Christmas. I've looked in FAQ and I don't see anything... anyone have any tips/experiences/links? I've done some searching online and all I can find are cheesy looking "pamphlet" type instructions. I was hoping for something a little sturdier.
