(no subject)
Aug. 5th, 2005 06:29 pmso, two of my friends just had their baby a few months ago and, failing to knit him something awesome as i had promised, i decided to design him some awesome onesies. i figured it would also be a good chance to do some embroidery, my newest craft of interest. the baby's name is phoenix, so i came up with this:


as you can probably see in the second picture, my stitching is not terribly even or regular.. this is the first embroidery project i've done. but i figure he'll just be puking on it anyway, right? it's a little hard to tell from these pictures, but the thread goes from red to orange to yellow. i had originally planned to embroider all three onesies that came in the package, but seeing as how this took a rather long time and the baby'll be too big for these if i wait much longer, i've decided i'll just whip up a couple stencils for the other two.
