so you want to...
Aug. 9th, 2005 12:58 amso i want to make a duvet cover!
i have a full-sized down comforter. i'd like to use old t-shirts and such, much like one someone had posted about ages ago. my only problem though is that i really can't fathom the dimensions. i know a full comforter is about 86" by 86" -- but i'm stupid. so i'm just wondering for those of you that have made them or attempted them or anything... did you use a pattern/tutorial? and wheeere could i find said thing? and about how long did it take you? BASICALLY i'm just wondering if any of you lovelies have come across a pattern/tutorial or anything of the sort online anywhere... thanks so much, crafties :)
(i know it should pretty much be like a huge pillowcase, but you have to understand that i'm craftily retarded. i have the hardest time planning things out. remember that starbucks monster i made? yeah that was totally on a whim, and he turned out pretty okay. now that i have to sit and THINK about something, i'm freaking out.)
apologies for such a dummy question!
