Dec. 22nd, 2002 12:40 pmOh man I'm so stoked. Finally, FINALLY I understand how to crochet. Thanks a million to those of you who tried to help me out a while back. I really just needed an actual person right in front of me saying, "do it this way." I went to Michaels and paid $10 for a class. Man, cheap! A lot of the other yarn-specialty stores were charging $30 and up. I paid ten, and got two hours one-on-one with the cutest little old German lady you ever did see. She helped me out and I finished my first-ever-scarf. Yeaaaaaaah! I'm already halfway done with my second one (I worked on it in bed this morning while The Monster was sacked out next to me) and it's going so quickly I can hardly believe it.

Anyway, since scarf pictures are nothing new, I'll put the other two behind the cut. I used Lion brand Thick and Quick Chenille in the dark green. My next scarf is using the claret colour. If I finish the red one, I'll give it to my friend Emily. If not, she gets this slightly gimpy green one. It has charm.
