getting paint off fabric? once it's dry, is there any way?

i made a perfectly stenciled lotus flower on a shirt, and while it was drying, one of the cats walked through it, leaving behind part of a footprint, but somehow not messing up the design. i want to be able to salvage it, because it worked so well.

edit: i used nail polish remover, and it came off, no problem. phew!
