This is something I've been working on for my boyfriend, who is a Star Wars supernerd. It's a set of two silly 18"X18" throw pillows for his new apartment. The different fabrics and piping are from JoAnn's. Darth and Yoda are embroidered, based on some coloring book images that I found online. This was my first embroidery project, and I'm just tickled with how it came out.

Geek-o-rama, I know, but my boy is the rare male soul who honestly appreciates handmade gifts [I knew I'd find one, sooner or later ;)]. A while ago, I made him extremely fugly Star Wars pj pants as a joke and he wears them everywhere. So I figure he won't think I'm off my rocker with this one :).
