Crafts are my addiction. My getaway from the every day.

I fell in love with an abandoned doll. She was in a blue velvet frilly dress. I freed her from her hell, and transformed her into a romantic creature of the night. My own creation. I gave her heart. I gave her strength, and I gave her a mind to embrace the messed up world she's been living in.

After demolishing the doll I ground the left over glue from her head with a dremmel tool. I made her a polymer clay brain, painted it black, then used pink over top. I used a laundry/permanant black marker to accent the lines, and used a high gloss paint on the brain to give it a real shine.



I repainted her face with acrylics. I have yet to put sealer on her face. I stained her body with a bath of tea. I used fabric paint to create a heart for her. I will eventually put embroidered stitches on her body with black floss. I used a drill press to puncture 2 holes in her porcelain head and install two short screws as neck bolts.



I'm hoping to design garments for her shortly. Something long and flowy maybe. Something for a Bride of Frankestein.
