Hi, does anybody have any recommendations for a good sewing machine that's not like. Over 600 dollars? &Preferably not one of those cheesy, really cheap, &bad quality itty bitty ones that can't even sew through denim. Something with preferably many types of stitches, tension settings, etc. (I haven't bought a sewing machine in a really long time, so I'm not sure if all sewing machines come with it.) All my sewing machines were hand-me-downs, &the last time I went sewing machine shopping, I think I was four. My current sewing machine is weird; the bobbin gets loose&pops out, causing the needle to break, &the tension is really wiggedy-wack. So basically, good sewing machine, not overpriced, fair quality.

On the note of sewing machines, how do you use the buttonhole stitch (if you have one)? I've been trying to figure it out, but with no avail.
