Aug. 25th, 2005 06:55 pmOkay. So I know there have been posts about this in the past, but I haven't kept up with this community lately and there's nothing about this in the memories, so here goes. I got one of those desk pads, that goes on a desk to protect the surface... in case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's kind of like this:

But it's different. It's really pretty, with borders on the left and right and cute polka dots going across the bottom. (I lost my camera so I can't take a pic, sorry!) But I don't need a desk pad. What I wanted to do was to turn it into a magnet board. So I looked for sheet metal at Home Depot, but they didn't have any. Then my mom came up with the idea to use magnetic spray paint. But I think that might be expensive, so I wanted to ask first if that would be useable. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Would it be strong enough to actually hold a magnet? If a magnet was holding a piece of paper onto the board, would it stay? Thanks muchly, everyone!
