If you're chopping up a sweater/tshirt/sweatshirt for crafty purposes, the neckband makes a very nice headband. Even one from a polo shirt with the collar left on, for a mini-scarf effect! Scroffy/boring ones are good for when you dye your hair--you can toss them afterwards with no guilt.
