craftgrrli'm new at sewing , i've yet to own a sewing machine and has been hand sewing for about 3 to 4 months or so. i'm hoping to get a sewing machine soon. I checked the FAQ/ Memories and couldn't really find what i needed so i'm posting here.
Does anyone has a good book or site to recommend on serveral issues that i want to learn about:
what stitches to use for what [as in for which part of the clothing or whatever you're making] , fabrics [their properties ,how to handle them , which projects they would be good for] and pattern making . Thanks!
