Result of my boredom

High gas prices + Having to save my money for a mini trip next weekend= Me staying in today...not going to the show I wanted to, but getting some crafting in.

I went to Target, these were .25 each...in the $1 section, but on clearance, obviously.


I decided I was going to paint them. So I got out my paints and brushes and went out on my deck. I painted the first one to match our kitchen. My mom has a thing for apples, haha.


Then, while painting one of the soap trays, "I'm Ready" by Jack's Mannequin came on. It's one of my absolute favorite songs...and that inspired this one. I'm going to keep it and put lotion in it.

Piano. I've cleaned these up since the picture was taken.


Palm Tree. I didn't like this side at first, but it's grown on me.

The scarf I posted last night is coming along nicely, I'm really pleased with it. :)
