I've been LABORING on Labor Day, y'all.
Sep. 5th, 2005 09:10 pmSo...I have this room. And I did stuff to it.
We live in an odd house. And my roommate's bedroom is TI-NY. There's really only enough space for her bed and a teeny bit of walking room, so we/mostly I revamped this section of the dining room into a little sunroom/studio thing which she can also occupy, in case she gets cabin fever in Ye Olde Tinyroome.
I whipped together these curtains so she'd have privacy:

Ugh, point-and-shoot camera. But you get the idea. The huge Ganesha thing is actually a wall hanging I had lying around, and I just curtainized it. (sure, that's a word...)

That's what it looks like from her side...the fabric's all reversible.
Then this was the hard part...mosaic-ing the floor. Smashing up tiles is pretty fun, though.

Kindly ignore the mess on the floor...

Just a couple areas of smash-up'd tiles. Nothing too fancy.
And the NEXT project...shall be the GARDEN! It's pretty huge and jungle-y. There's a lot of things a craftgirl could do to that garden.
