craftgrrlThe UCF Women's Studies program, in association with the Orange County Project Linus chapter and the Blanchard Park YMCA, are having a handmade blanket drive to benefit survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
The requirements for donated blankets are few:

The requirements for donated blankets are few:
- Only handmade blankets accepted
- Blankets must be large than 36" square, and no larger than a twin bed
- No-sew fleece blankets are recommended for hurricane survivors
- Any knitted or crocheted blankets will be donated to local charities
