crafty, and question.


i embroidered this a little while ago. still practicing my filling, etc. it was freehand. embroidering a washcloth is a BITCH.






first time i've ever actually finished a hat/scarf/mittens set! i usually lose patience/interest after one of two pieces. and with perfect timing, too. it was a around/under 60 degrees today, so i curled up with my slippers, scarf, hat, and afghan, and listened to love-ly music.




and my question is this; when you felt wool, exactly how much does it shrink? i want to make a pair of felted slippers, but i don't know how big to make them, so that they will be the right size after they're done.
