Handspun of Doom!
Sep. 11th, 2005 11:44 amI have been spinning a little bit these past two days since I got the fiber package. I'm starting off with the dyed wool..

29 yards (87 feet), 100% wool, bulky thick & thin yarn
I still need to come up with a name of this one. :)

I haven't measured these ones yet. These were my first attempts at making 2-ply yarn. The one on the left is pink and yellow wool 2-ply yarn, and the one on the right is yellow wool and hot pink ribbon 2-ply yarn. I took these photos before I washed them -- right now, they are hanging to dry. I spun the pink with some shiny/sparkly magenta angelina fibers, but I don't know if I spun them in correctly.
Details of the two plyed yarns pre-washing:

Just showed the boyfriend and he replied with "Handspun of Doom!" :)
