Found this yarn for $1 a ball at Big W... so naturally I picked up 8. :)
Initial idea was to make a sleeveless top for my mum (size 16, preferably a v-neck or other open neck style) but I can't seem to find any patterns I like online. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something not too difficult, too. :)
Also, poncho and beanie under the cut.

Beanie! It's a little bit short and loose. I think I might add a couple of rows around the bottom but not quite sure what pattern will give it a more fitted look. Thanks to

Poncho and detail. Used this pattern, except stuck to one colour. And I only used 7mm needles but I must knit loosely because its a lot holey-er than the version in the pattern. Was also going to do some kind of border on this, but I've worn it a few times and it's growing on me as is. :)
