it's starting to cool off and joy oh joy am i excited. it's gotten to the point that it's not too hot to knit anymore, so i've been knitting up a storm! (gotta love the fact it's homecoming week and teachers won't give homework so they can encourage "class bonding" through float building.)

i knit this scarf in all garter stitch with the bellezza collection yarn from joann's. it's the bellissimo, 90% wool, 7% nylon and the rest i'm guessing is the irridescent bits (on the label it says "3% other fiber").

it's so pretty, the colors are beautiful. i love how the little irridescent bits shine in the sun. the yarn's lovely and fairly nice to work with, and for a 90% wool blend, not all that exspensive (around $5.99 a ball, $3.60 with a 40% off coupon!)

i'm wondering if i should try out some of the other bellezza yarns they have at joann's. anyone else tried the others?

on to the pictures...











now i'm working on a white scarf made with paton's divine yarn. i'm trying to recreate this scarf from dELiA*s. the real one looks better in pictures than it does in real life, and for $19.50? over my dead body. i figured i could make one at least as nice for cheaper.

i'm also anxiously awaiting two balls of handpaintedyarn's tuscan sky super bulky pure wool yarn. i'm so excited.
