craftgrrl | Beads & Wire Question!

The other day I bought a really cute Japanese beading book, but I'm having some trouble figuring out exactly what size beads and wires I should use. I scanned some images from the book and put them under the cut. If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

Basically I really want to make stuff like the ones pictured below. I think they're the cutest thing ever, but I don't really have a bead shop nearby and the selection at Micheals and Joanns is really crappy. I want to buy the supplies online, but I'm not sure what the proper sizes are.

Does anyone know what sizes A, B, C, E & F might be? Also, what are the long, tubular beads called?

In the group labeled 1, I'm pretty sure all the wires are the same size, expect different colors (silver, gold and copper). What type of wire is this? Does anyone have any recommendations on what type of wire to use?
