I did one elephant so far... and i like that it's feet are uneven... and i ended up using foam inside of it!  i got out an older needle (in case it ruins good ones) and i could sew right through the foam - so i did a little heart :-)

i sewed right sides together.. leaving the tummy open - flipped it right side out and used a pen to poke out the trunk... and then i slipped in the piece of foam (that i had to recut like 4 times so it would fit perfectly)... then i just sewed all around the edges.... the ear has stiches that ares just around the outsides - i wasnt paying attention and went too far in twice.. so i fixed it by going around a whole nother time... purposely "messing" up.  i like it - i am pleased.. hopefully the ones to follow are quicker!

i'll have the other ones done something this weekend.. i definitely want to get a picture frame on one of them
