I have had this canvas panel for about 2 years and was never very inspired to do anything with it, especially since I'm not so good with painting or drawing. Luckily, this post from yesterday instantly inspired me, I dug out my supplies, and a few hours later I had this!



It's red and purple on a 6"x8" canvas panel with acrylic paints. Very simple, but I love it. Also, a bit messy if looked at closely, but it will be hanging over my desk, so it will always be seen from at least 2 feet away where you can't see the little paint lines and clumps. :)

Edit: It has been pointed out to me that I should perhaps explain the number 4.
At first, I just liked how the 4 looked in boogersugar's post. Then I thought about how I could do the same thing, but make it mine. In the end, the 4 stayed because of some personal reasons; 4 years ago I was given 4 months to live due to cancer. So I decided that the 4 would stay because a)I liked the look and b)I wanted to gloat about life. :)
