You help me decide.
I'm trying to knit a bunch of christmas presents, and a few of them involve k1 p1 ribbing, so it's driving me a little nuts. Plus I realized after the two scarves that I have made, I have made zilch! for myself. so I decided to go a bit wacky. I made this with Lion's Brand Wool Ease in Grey Heather, and some of that lovely $1 a skein turquoise ribbon yarn from target. Size 15 needles.
The first picture is intentionally dark so that you can see the stitching, the second, very bright so you can see the neat color you get when you combine the yarns.

The pattern so far goes like this.
Cast on 20 stitches.
Knit ten rows garter stitch.
Knit five rows k2 p2 rib.
Knit ten rows garter stitch.
Knit ten rows k2 p2 rib.
Knit ten rows garter stitch.
Knit five rows k2 p2 rib.
You can fill in the rest.
It's going super fast, and compared to the tedium of some of my projects, I'm quite pleased. I did this much in about three hours or so.
You can block acrylic, right? I think this may need a touch of blocking.
