Help, pretty please!

Hi girls (and guys :) )!
I am working on a few items for xmas gifts and need a little advice.

First is this tray. First I must say that I loved it as it was, but wanted to make it more interesting. I decided to use some mosaic tiles and then pour resin over top when I was done. I have used all but 4 of the large tiles, but have quite a few small tiles left. So I'm trying to decide if I should use what I have to do something more OR if I should leave it as it is OR if I should go buy some more tiles to make a border all the way around OR something else entirely! Any opinions would be great.

Ok, next I have a birdhouse that I am making for my boyfriend's mom. She likes birdhouses, go figure. :) Anyhow, I have done a bunch of painting on it so far and I think I'm done, except that the light blue parts on the sides and back seem so bare. However, I feel like the roof is so busy that I don't really want to add much more. I'm not really even sure what my question is here.... Leave it alone? Add something? Ack. FYI--anything that looks white/gray is really a metallic silver. Also, I'm planning to paint on a glossy sealer of some kind, if that makes any difference for you. :)





I tried to keep the pictures small, but if there's something you can't see, I have bigger ones. I have no idea why you'd need them... Pardon me, I've been sniffing mosaic glue for about an hour. :)
